R9 290 Black Screen

I've been experiencing some black screens on my 290 while gaming. After reading this, I think I may need to switch from using 2 seperate rails on my 4 rail PSU to using 3 rails by using a 2 6-pin to 8-pin adapter. Do you guys know if they've come out with a new bios for the card to address power issues (sent XFX a ticket asking but no response yet)? Any other ideas on how to fix black screening?

RMA, or your PSU just doesn't have enough wattage, or it sucks balls
