RAM HELP!!

• Timing 9-10-9-27
• Cas Latency 9
• Voltage 1.5V

 

And am looking at this one for the 8GB dim http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233538

• DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
• Timing 9-9-9-24
• Cas Latency 9
• Voltage 1.5V

 

Which one is better should I stay with the one I have or look at one that is DDR3 1866 because that is better even tho the timing 

 

Or What would you guys recommend for the best gaming RAM?

 

Budget = $200

Just keep the one you have, changing it wont improve performance by anything noticable

I'd keep the ram you have, you won't notice a difference in games.

agreed, ram frequency doesn't matter at the moment unless you are running an APU

Would it be worth it considering the fact the upgrading would give me 16gb because it wont fit in with my current heat sink?

You will be totally wasting ~$80.

This memory is good to go for every game.

 

You don't need 16 gigs for gaming but if you really want 16 gigs for bragging rights,the best thing is to sell those sticks and buy a low-profile ones. But again,not recommented.
