We need to know more about your hardware and your setup.

Does anything else pick up your WiFi network if it's in the same spot as your computer?

Sounds like you need either a better WiFi adapter or a Cat6 cable that can make the run back to your modem.

Depending on which WiFi adapter you have now, you might be able to get away with just getting a better antenna.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

We don’t need to know more. WiFi dongles can be very cheap and finicky the op could do with just trying a different branded dongle.

I’ve had luck with RTL8812bu based dongles from Aliexpress but none of them are perfect.

OP could go further with some TP-link deco units at least then local devices can be attached with Ethernet so there’s less crap trying to share the network. I’ve setup my IP cameras like this on a remote building.

Pentium D 820 3.8ghz>e6600 3.6ghz>2500k 4.8ghz>3770k 4.6ghz>4790k(4.6ghz unstable crap)>8700k>qqlt 4.7ghz>3500x>5800x>9800x3d
