new First PC build

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly for gaming and rare office work

 

I am planning to build a first PC for gaming and sometimes MS Office work at home. I am going with intel I5 12400 non F version as i dont want my PC to be depend on Graphic card for display output. For graphic card i am very confused because RTX 5060 is going to come but i dont know when it will come to indian market, RTX 4060 is available but many people suggest its not that good card. I am confused about AMD because RTX has DLSS which will help in many games for better frame rates. Pls suggest something

AMD has FSR that is similar to DLSS.  DLSS is slightly better overall but FSR has caught up a lot in terms of visual quality.

The RTX 4060 is a decent GPU, the main reason people say its a bad card was the price to performance near release.

The RTX 4060 still performs great but I would recommend AMD at that price range.

65K INR is around 750 USD, you won't be able to get any decent GPU on that budget, buy used

This is obviously depending on price in your region, but check the 12600K, because in my country the 12400 and 12600K are almost the same price.

 

RE: 4060, it is not too bad, it has low power consumption and performs well for 1080p, but it depends on the price. I'd also consider: RX 6600 non-XT / 6650 XT, Arc A580, RX 6700, RX 3060.

That will go over budget alot. I understand that conversation of currency but still the prices here are higher than other countries

Intel is almost non existent over here in GPU sector. AMD older cards are very hard to find. Should i wait for RTX 5060?
