Hi, this is my first time on the forum so I hope I'm posting in the right section. I have recently changed my power supply from a Seasonic Focus 1000w to a newer ATX 3.1 of the same model. Now everytime I turn on the PC, the DRAM light on my Asus b650 plus wifi turns on for approximately 10 seconds before turning off again, at which point my PC boots normally. I cannot find anything online relating to this. I have reseated ram, but it has not sorted out the issue.

For the sake of diagnostics, do you still have the old PSU? Could you set it up next to the computer and plug it in to see if it does go away?

Also, does your MB show voltage outputs on the 12v, 5v, and 3.3v rails? If so, what do they read?

Also could try a clear CMOS or update BIOS if an update is avaliable. This could force it to "relearn" the hardware

Does the behavior happen on every single startup? If so you can try temporarily connecting the old PSU and seeing if the problem goes away.

If it's only a 10 second start up delay though and does not present any issues while running your OS it's hard to say there's any real problem here. It's also harder to troubleshoot a DRAM LED where there's not much to test outside of disabling XMP/EXPO or pulling all but one stick and testing if the issue goes away.

I will try this now. I have tried with my old PSU, and the problem persisted. I will also have a look if i can find the voltage outputs.

I will give disabling EXPO a go, thanks.

I've just had a look. I'll attach the voltages here.
