My computer has been stuttering every time I play any single game i've tried reinstalling windows updating my driver's trying drivers without the software we've replaced basically every part of the computer you can think of and it still stutters during gameplay my specs are :

7 7800x3d

7900gre

32gigs of ddr5

850wat power supply

We tried a nvidia gpu a new motherboard, a new cpu, ram power supply, even case i took it to a repair shop and they couldn't figure it out. They blamed it on optimization issues, then left me two hundred dollars short even though it's every single game I would appreciate any help or ideas someone could give

What is the exact model number of this? some RAM does have issues depending on the BIOS revision, so it's worth checking to see if this is some of that stuff.

Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is someting like an FCLK issue where the CPU is unstable. You can try manually dropping the FCLK to something like 1600MHz and see if that causes it to stutter less.

How unstable are we talking about when it comes to DDR5. I know it's newish and all, but I know even DDR4 @ 3600mhz can be unstable. Also, what if they are in slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3? Would that make it any less stable?

The other way around, if it's in slots 1 and 3 counting from the CPU it's liable to not even boot. You want it in slots 2 and 4 because of weird wiring routing physics.

I've seen these sticks be able to POST but not make it into Windows. If the BIOS is only barely on the undercooked side, it could very much do what you're experiencing.

Do you know how I would be able to lower the speed

I'm sorry I forgot to mention we've tried ddr four running at 3200 so I don't think that's the issue 😞
