so I do like using my S23, and I drive a lot, BUT, I always have problems with GPS in car, as well as just generally, playing music and stuff.

On my iPhone 12, with apple CarPlay, no issues.  didn't like the phone, went to Samsung S23.

Most things "WORK", like apps open up, sound plays, etc.  HOWEVER< if you search for say, gas station, mccdonalds, Costco, etc, it never searched for it in your vicinity.  Living in Markham, it would always find mccdonalds in Mississauga.  If I search it ON the phone, obviously it finds local ones.  Why does this happen?  Happens in both Waze and Google maps.  These apps dont have issue on iPhone.

When I play YouTube videos in cars, and I know, YOU SHOULDN"T, but I do, because I'm often in my car doing nothing, so I watch videos using the speakers in my car.  BUT, adjusting volume stops the video and instantly plays the last audio I was playing in my car, like podcasts for example.  why can't I adjust volume of a YouTube video?  It works fine for music, podcasts, and other stuff, just not YouTube Videos.

I pretty much started using my iPhone 12 again because it just works WAY better in this.  I drive my parents a lot, as well as do other stuff that just needs me using GPS a lot since I'm going to new places, or new areas.  No, I'm not doing Uber or some alternative.  I just need working GPS.  I have a Garmin which I LOVE, and it works PERFECTLY in so many ways.  Which I often fall back on because of the issue I had on my S23.  But, to be honest, I WANT my S23 to work.  It's my main phone, and it's a good phone.

Anyone else having these issues?

PS, I drive a 2022 Corolla Hatchback SE 6SP.  I asked my dealership, but they said there is no fix.  Also, dealership near me is a pretty big scamming piece of crap.  So I will never go back there.

I'd definitely try using another car and see if it's a phone problem or a car one. Also, do you use a VPN? Might cause problems with the maps results

that is interesting... I do, but I use it on both actually.  I'll add it to the bypass list.  HOPEFULLY this will fix the mapping issue.  just not the weird volume issue with YouTube videos.

haha sadly, no.  everyone I know is too poor to buy a new car.  I ended up with one because my Jetta legit died while driving.  3 mechanics couldn't figure out what the problem is too.  1 being a 50 year expert on all VW and Audi too. =_=.  miss that car.
