I've been looking at a lot of mice but am having trouble. I have a fingertip grip, and I used my last mouse at its maximum 5600dpi which was not as much dpi I would have liked at all, and it had an acceleration problem. So I want to get a mouse with significantly more dpi but hear the 8200 dpi laser sensor that I see on a lot of mice has the same in-built acceleration (is that true?), so what's the highest dpi mouse with I figure120mm max length (so I can use a fingertip grip) without acceleration or other major flaws?

Would prefer it to be wired, ergonomic right-handed, have a ring-finger rest, 5-7 programmable buttons, customizable led, have a software for changing settings and whatnot, under 100$, and on the heavy side. Any suggestions? Thanks  :)

Logitech G502

Mionix 7000 Avior

Logitech G400s

Just dont EVER use laser mice, optical is the only sensor type worth a damn.

laser is good for wireless mice on the go.

how do you use ring finger rest and finger tip grip? :/

:o 12000dpi...

The Logitech G502 and 7000 both look good except for looking too long. The Naos 7000 even says it is designed for a full palm grip, so can I really still comfortably fingertip these?? I guess I can't have the best of everything though

I love my G400, and I prefer the darker look of the G400, but if it feels nicer and is a bit more solid I might try the G400S.

I've still got my old MX518. :)

why bother if it still works and it's not too nasty use the g400 and wait for next next gen

The G400s has a better reinforced cord. New antiperspirant materials. Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks instead of 10 or 5 million (not sure what's in the G400, just know that they're not 20 mill). Sensor is the same.

You can fingertip both mice. I would get the G502. It's really a perfect mouse except for the damn sniper button. I'm actually debating wether or not I should remove the sniper button completely with some type of tool, and tape over the rest..

Not sure what you mean by this. Do you perhaps mean antiperspirant? Sweat repellent?

Ehh, yes. I'm not a native English speaker, so :P
