ram... Nah it doesn't want to cooperate at all sometimes, same with CPU...

Vengeance ram... No oc would stick... Bought Gskill bdies, took 30 minutes to oc them to 3600, rock solid since (with different cpus too)

Yeah this is just a skill issue with ram choice, just picking good rams in the first place makes oc a hell of alot easier

If i didnt manually pick my ics to be hynix 2gbit cfr i wouldnt have been able to hit ddr4 speeds on 4 sticks with relative ease despite having basically the best board on this platform, even my other good ics like 1gbit gdie refuse to run 4 stick at these speeds

Slow speed ram ocs (ddr4 <4000) you literally just look up your ic and copy paste an oc profile someone else has already made and itll probably just work as you arent pushing anything but the fclk and you can verify fclk instability by just dropping the ram speed, i still dont have ddr4 but even on ddr3 i just look up a reference for the ics that i have and go from there though as easy as ddr3 is to clock both low and high clocks im very certain that slow speed ddr4 overclocks will be even easier than that 3200c13 oc and that only took a couple days to figure out due to no existing references thatd work for the imc volts alongside some screwing around with the timings

And cpu oc? Allcore oc is dead simple but i do understand pbo being annoying to stabilize, tried corecycler? Apparently that can stress the singlecore boosts to make sure theyre stable

And what's your fps and GPU utilization? There's a catch in pushing more frames out of a weak GPU in a game like CS2 - yoo, smoke and molly overload GPU; it can't keep up with an OC CPU; adding extra delay per rendered frame; your extra frames means extra delay - lag spikes, frame drops, performance degradation.

i think i may not be hitting 80 percent gpu utilization sometimes

and fps is around 75 to 144 range
