For the people that want to fix this aswell, I fixed it. The solution is in my repo on github :).

Hello everyone

I recently installed ubuntu 24.04 on one of my devices and i wanted to connect my Logitech MX Anywhere 2 to it for its functionality. So hence my question: How do i use the extra functionality like i would in windows? Especially the virtual desktop functions for the middle button. I tried with solaar and piper i think, but when i use solaar and set the middle button to virtual desktop nothing happens and piper is just very weird (here i also tried but nothing happened). The nothing happening part is also pretty weird as in it tries to do the switching of virtual desktop but fails as in the mouse cursor doesn't move (like it shout for virtual desktop switching) but the desktop doesn't switch.

Does anyone perhaps know how i can configure this correctly or another program that can do it?

Many thanks for the time taken to read this and possibly helping me!
