Whatsapp images

Hi,

Today I was trying to search for an old image from my caht history and noticed that all the old images are gone from my device. My whatsapp folder was around 6-7 GB and I had google backup on.

Today I checked the size of whatsapp folder and it was only 600MB. I was hoping to restre from my google drive but the drive backup size is only 92MB.

 

It looks like whatsapp not only deleated all my media files it also overide the backup file. My chats are still there so no issue with that. 

Is there anything I can do to resore my media files? Can I restore the whatsapp backup file to a previous date.
