Hello,

So I have a problem where my CPU is not running properly. During a benchmark is has a wavy utilisation. and the performance is below that of what it should be. During the BO6 benchmark with 70% rendered res and most setting medium or low I am getting an average FPS of 93 with 45FPS 1% lows. during the test I get a max fps of 140 and the FPS goes up and down in line with the wavy CPU utilisation. At no point is the CPU or GPU thermal throttling. I even change graphic settings to 1080P with all setting to low or off and the result was the same with the benchmark reporting a 90% CPU bottleneck but its not even working half the time.

I have updated all drivers, software, BIOS. tried turning DOCP off and RAM back to stock settings. Iv tried under volting the 5700X3D. Closing all background processes. literally everything I can find online. The only thing left to do is a full windows install but I don't have the best internet and will take along time to install everything again.

Does anyone have any other ideas I can try ?

AM4/5 can run into weird microstuttering issues without the chipset driver or when its not working properly.

Yes. All software and drivers are direct from manufacture

Outside of a few more variables like Windows Power Plan, a weird UEFI bug, or some sort of malware, it could simply be that BO6's benchmark is poorly optimized for your hardware.

Not a bug or something. You are being bottlenecked by your CPU and/or GPU

As mentioned, even running 1080p and low settings. it still happens so not a GPU bottleneck. and yea its a CPU bottleneck because its not working correctly. im asking for help as to why its not working correctly

Have you tried a proper CPU benchmark like cinebench?
