Amazon Prime Streming Channels?

SWe use to have Discovery+ on Prime & a show we watched one epp wasn't avail. for maybe a week. So we get D= on its own as a app, we could watch all the shows earlier. So why does Prime alter the apps.? Ok, that sounded odd, not sure how to put in.

If I had to guess it's probably part of the deal Discovery has with Amazon. This way there is still a benefit to subscribing to Discovery.

 

There's always plenty of streaming sites on the high seas that likely wouldn't have a week delay.... Many do live TV.
