hey guys i was wondering around if there is a way to control each fans separately speed and RGB wise with a controller, i am planning on getting the phanteks NV5 case so 8 fans in total and put on some ripoff fans (teucer infinity mirror 4 Pro which has daisy chain connection of the fans so only 1 cable comes out) of the LIANLI i already tried with a normal controller from amazon and i was able to controll only 1 fans speed and the rest would sync up to that fans speed Thermalright FAN HUB Controller REV and i was able to controll only 1 fans speed and the rest would sync up to that fans speed, MOBO i am planning on getting the asus tuf gaming b650-PLUS

That thermalright fan hubs also just sets the fans to speed of one fan as well.

Why not just plug the fans directly into the motherboard? This would let you control them individually. Even if you have to use a couple splitters, this would only have a couple fans linked together, instead of all of them. This would give you the extra control you are after.

However is there a reason you need to control them individually? I honestly just set everything to ramp up with CPU temp and call it a day.

I'm going out on a limb on this one, but I'm pretty sure from my experience with daisy chained fans from the likes of Lian-Li and Phantek, you can only control the the fan speed for the 'chain' rather than individual fans.

When it comes to RGB, I'm not so sure.

Have you looked into OpenRGB? I remember using that once before. It might have that functionality.

Hopefully someone else here might be more helpful.

yea after some thinking i think i dont really need a hub, i can connect them all to the motherboard and split the fans the intakes from the exhausts and im set, why didnt i think of this before LOL

Btw, Thermalright also makes infinity mirror fans. So no need to buy "teucer" fans if you don't want to

There's no magic involved, you need a board fan header to get one "control"/fan curve, so by definition a hub ending in one header will always only offer one "control" for all the fans plugged in the controller

Noone really needs more than maybe 4 fan control curves, so you need to get as many controllers than the number of curves you wnt, and use a board fan header for each one
