I've been called.

Yes, everyone's system does. If it didn't, performance would be limitless. At 1440p with an older 3060Ti in modern titles, you'll likely be GPU bottlenecked the majority of the time.

However, as you'll slowly learn the more time you spend in this hobby, worrying about this word "bottleneck" is a waste of time and its massively misunderstood.

I'd be curious if you could run ZenTimings and send a screenshot here. If you're running your RAM at 6400, its very possible your motherboard auto-configured itself in a way that its actually slower than if you manually configured it to 6000. Over 6000 is never suggested for most users with Ryzen 7000/9000.

There is no one answer, since it will vary based on game and individual in game settings such as resolution and detail levels.

Use a tool like Intel PresentMon or MSI Afterburner. Is GPU usage well below 90%? Congratulations, you are CPU limited.

Does it matter? No, unless the game's frame rate is unacceptable as a result, or there are other issues like stuttering.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

Nope, please do not use these. They simply perpetuate the complete misunderstanding of how that concept works.

No. Those are trash.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Oh, I didn't know that

For example, most bottleneck calculators place the 7800X3D below even a 13600K as it doesnt have as many cores or threads and a lower clock speed, but it outperforms the 14900K on average

Quick for example

7800X3D isnt enough for a 7900xtx in GPU intense tasks? Even though it is the second best CPU (only second to its successor) to pair with a GPU in GPU intense tasks
