I gave my gf my old note 10+ because she was using a cheap, slow Samsung phone. She likes it but the battery is quite old at this point. What are some good options, while staying with Samsung, that have comparable performance? I'm not looking to spend too much. I have 0 experience with anything Samsung outside of the Note, and Z fold phones. How are the FE or A series, in terms of performance compared to an aging flagship?

If comparable performance and efficiency to the Note 10 then current A series phone are comparable (ie the A35 released last year)
A rough comparison of the A35 chip with the previous Note 10 plus chips (Exynos and SD version)

The concern would be that you lose some flagship features that come with the Note or S line if you purchase the A line

Best bet would be to purchase an mode from the S22-S24 plus or Ultra line
Just my 2 cents

At this point you could consider the Note10+ to be a cheap, slow Samsung phone lol

If it works for her thats great! however I would like to say it is no longer getting security updates and I cannot recommend someone use a phone not receiving anymore updates.
