Id try to avoid most of the gaming laptops in that price range, since you can get better specs if you skip all the RGB stuff. Unless that's what you want, anyway.

i dont care much about rgb and looks. i want a well rounded laptop that can do most stuff decently for 6/7 year in that price range. if i avoid gaming ones what should i look for?

Business laptops would be my go to. Some gems in there. Think dell latitude, hp elitebook. Stuff like that.

Well you need to realistically tell us what you expect to do for the next 6/7 years.

If you're only using browsing social media and blogs, then any laptop is fine.

Will you be away from a power source for long periods of time?

Will you be at a desktop and this laptop will be connected to an external display?

Will you be doing photo editing or video editing?

Will you be trying to play modern games at High settings?

Lots of variables that prevent us from narrowing things down.

Ok so you DO NOT want a gaming laptop then at all in this case. A ryzen 7000/8000 with 780m igpu graphics + at least 16gb of ram would be a prime device for you
