FireFox reload issue.

Any firefox mobile users here?

 

Whenever I minimize it just for a second it often reloads the page which can get annoying when I'm filling up a form or reading something.

 

Doing a quick google, looks like this problem is already reported years ago, but I couldn't find any fix.

Phone is Poco F6 pro.

 

Firefox 134.0.2.

 

-Doesn't happen on other browsers like brave and chrome.

-Tried removing any battery and auto close settings.

-Reinstall.

 

Anyone know any fix for this?

I use Firefox. Not the fastest, especially online shops can be buggy but I've used it for more than a decade so I'm just familiar.

 

Personally when mobile browsers often reload pages over having them be open in the background always came to being how much spare RAM and pagefiling room I ha on my phone. If my phone storage was more than 10GB then my Firefox browser never reloaded, if I start closing in on 1-2GB spare storage then pages were slower and would reload far more often.

 

How much storage and RAM have you got left?

That usually happens because the OS is killing the app in the background for RAM or CPU reasons. FF is constantly evolving and it's possible that this will be randomly fixed in a future update

Tested it just now.
7.6GB out of 12.
Storage is 40GB free out of 256.

FF is the only one that's fundamentally different. Everyone else uses chromium as the core of the browser
