So recently I've been having issues with certain games, at random times during gaming my screen will either start artifacting or having a green screen or a combination of both and then fully rebooting my system (Giving a Kernel Power Event 41). I can't seem to nail down my problem. I've lowered the adrenalin clock speed to what it's meant to be, I've used DDU, Furmark and hwinfo both say my GPU and system are fine, I've even disabled MPO in the registry. Is this a matter of downgrading my drivers to a certain one or have I been unlucky in the chip lottery and need to rma my GPU or PSU or could it even be a faulty hdmi cable as it's quite old (I've had it since 2018) Please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Note: All of my parts are brand new

Probably a GPU issue.

Use OCCT to test it for errors (https://www.ocbase.com/download)

I've just tested everything metric on Occt and it came back all fine, does that imply driver issue?

You want to test 3D adaptive and VRAM with default settings, each for at least 30 minutes. If you suspect it's a driver issue you can always DDU and install an older driver.

Oh gotcha, I'll do it for 30 mins then. What driver is a good one to rollback to for my system?

I had green screen crashes at random times with this exact same card. What helped for some time was undervolting (down to 95% in Adrenalin) but the issue returned after a few months. What solved the issue was replacing the GPU 😬

FYI, I RMA'd the GPU, but Gigabyte sent it back claiming they couldn't find any issue, so... good riddance, lol

Yeah I noticed in the adrenalin app the default preset is slightly overclocked e.g for me its set at 2610+ but it's usually rated for 2565. However it barely fixes it for me so I might buy a new hdmi cable and pray it fixes the issue
