Laptop black screen

Hi, My asus rog zephryus g14 2021 Turns on, there is a power light, charging light, and backlit keyboard, but the screen remains black. Does anybody know of a fix besides holding power for 60secs? Thanks

does holding power work in making the screen turn on?

if so, what makes the laptop screen stop working once it is working?

Nope. holding doesn’t do anything but power cycle. Haven’t seen the screen since yesterday.

oh crap, idk what to do then sorry.

something similar did happen to me a few years ago, all the lighst were on and stuff but screen was black, and i could only see it, just barely if i shined a flashlight at the screen, but i couldn't see it very well, 

i think someone mentioned to me at the time that it sounded like the black screen of death and idk but to my small laptop knowledge ur situation sounds like that as well, but i have no idea, i dont have much laptop knowledge so take everything i say with a grain of salt

I just fixed it. all it took for me was a reseat of one of the ram sticks, and it booted right up.
