Yes, that's normal. The monitor adjusts it's Hz to match the FPS.

 

Understand that 165FPS does not mean that each frame is delivered evenly at 6.06ms. It just means that your PC was able to render 165 frames in that second but each frame took different time to be displayed and for G-Sync to function it needs to match the monitors Hz to be synced with each rendered frame.

That all looks normal to me. Various software and hardware solutions for tracking framerate and or refresh rate will use different sample rates and show up visibly as different numbers.
