PSU recomendations needed

Go to solution Solved by seon123,

You can find the Cybenetics results for several of the PSUs here. If a PSU doesn't have a Cybenetics rating, and there aren't any professional reviews of it, I would try to avoid that PSU.

The RMx 2024 is quiet, and performs well. It has individually sleeved cables, which you might like the look of. Not sure why Proshop just straight up lies about it having an 80+ rating, but oh well. It's still the PSU I'd choose.

Besides that ive heard that Corsair has fallen off thier game for some time now, so i shouldnt by a PSU from them (?)

By who? Anyone that generalises by brand should be ignored. Exactly like you should ignore someone that says "don't buy an AMD GPU/Intel CPU/etc., they have fallen off their game for some time now".

Im making a new build and the only part im missing is a PSU. I've tryed researching for some time now, but i cant find anything that i completly trust.

PCPP List: https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/sWvp3w (Should be set to Denmark)

So far ive looked at a cople but i cant decide between them:

  • Gigabyte UD850GM PG5 (rev. 2.0) (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)
  • Gigabyte AORUS Elite P850W (850 Watt, 80 plus platinum)
  • MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)
  • Corsair RM850x (2024) (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)
  • Corsair RM850e V2 (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)
  • Asus TUF Gaming 850G (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)
  • Asus ROG Strix 850W Platinum (850 Watt, 80 plus platinum)
  • NZXT C-Series C850 (2024) (850 Watt, 80 plus gold)

Besides that ive heard that Corsair has fallen off thier game for some time now, so i shouldnt by a PSU from them (?)

Feel free to sugest any other PSU, but please see if its avilible on proshop.dk thru PCPP, as this is where i would like to buy every piece of hardware so it'll all hopefully come at the same time.

If you'll need clarifications just ask and ill see if i can give a more clear answer.

after each power supply you listed , write down why you decided to not trust/buy it. if you arent going to trust that many units then it'd be helpful to know why

Sorry, bad writing on my part.

What i ment was i didnt find any reviews/guids/whatever that seamed helpfull for me to narrow down my selection, based on what i need in my system. This is why i dont "trust" any of them.

ok so you just want a power supply purely based off of user review quantity vs any other aspect? you should be able to sort user reviews on newegg to get the largest quantity if that helps

Well maby not purely, but the best rated with many reviews tend to be at least good quality also so yeah. Do you have any recomendations?
