Prop your phone up pointing at your monitor while it's being charged. Start recording video. Game. When artifacting happens, stop recording, use whatever built in tools you have to trim away all but the end showing it going from fine to artifacting.
That should be enough evidence that it's broken. But looking at your second pic, you seem to have done that already and if that video isn't enough, I think you just have a dishonest retailer
In fact, if they think it's fine, they should be pretty okay with taking it back....

so here is an update it was working fine for the last week i accdently unplugged the pc while it was running and then it started doing this in games agen so
