https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16883360531 is this pc good value for a prebuild, wanna play at 1080p while web browsing and streaming in discord or do i get something more expensive?

Its not too bad!

A Ryzen 7600x and RTX 4070 will definitely play games at 1080p while web browsing or streaming 馃檪

awwits mediocre. the core 7600x and 4070 are nice but everything else screams budvet cut.

16gb of ram is gonna but full by just some games its also slow ram losing you performanxe and adding more sticks isnt recommended because running 4 sticks of ddr5 full speed is stupid hard to do.

storage is low with just 1 tb

motherboard is a very low end a620 board not great.

rest is alright. price isnt too bad.

if you can build yourself do so.

The motherboard is kinda sketchy, and I don't know who the OEM on the PSU is (abs is just a reseller).

Aside from those two things, it looks pretty solid. Be prepared to buy a new RAM kit sooner or later to take it up to 32GB for some headroom in intense AAA gaming.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Building it yourself > Pre-Built. These companies will list flashy components like a 4070 and a 7600x to lure you in, and then skimp out with everything else to cut costs. Building your own PC honestly isn't that complex and it will teach you a lot. If you want help speccing something out you can just ask and people will be happy to help. The value here isn't awful, but its not a very well rounded computer IMO. Definitely MORE than enough to play at 1080p. for that you could get away with a 5600 and a 3050 build for 600 USD.

I try to be respectful. If I ever come off in a different manner, I probably don't mean to. If I don't help you sorry, if I do, mark my comment as the solution.聽

yes, especially with 1200$ should be enough for both 7600 and 4070, while the rest of the components can have decent quality, or better,

+ you get to choose your own aesthetics if you build it yourself, you can pick almost any case, for less hassle and more beginner friendly for example there are cases with pre-installed fans, very good value since you pay for case and don't need to buy fans.

The only thing you might need on top, is Windows install.

Could lose another approx 50$, depending on what features you might not need, like strong MB that can support faster CPUs is there, you could get about 20$ cheaper, you can get lower powered decent PSU, because RTX 4070 is pretty efficient.

You could even get 50-100$ less GPU, that has similar power, but it's from AMD.
