which memory ?

So I'm building a pc with 9800X3D and Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI and was wondering if I can use G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB Dual 6000MHz CL30 - Black as my memory ? Apparently this memory kit supports Intel XMP 3.0 but can't find anything about AMD EXPO!! Can I still run this at 6000mhz ?

Most XMP RAM will work on AMD AM5.

I have actually used these exact ones with many different AM5 systems without issues.

 

Its not a 100% guarantee however.

There is never a 100% guarantee when it comes to XMP or EXPO profiles.

Its technically an overclock and all overclocks have a chance to be unstable or not work.

 

That chance however is very low with 6000Mhz CL30 on AM5.

The best would be to find an EXPO kit.

there are ram compatibility checkers but mostly (sadly me ) the problem starts after 6400 mhz where it might be handy to look if it has a manufacturer QVL certification 

i use https://pangoly.com/en/compatibility/ but maybe there is a beter one ?

isn't 100% guarantee i guess but every little thing helps?
