Lack off money? It is actually crazy what you can get with $300. If you look at the build I suggested it actually performs really well.

Convince him to use an older hard drive or investing in a new one, the build I made has decent graphics, a quad core CPU and a very decent PSU.

Yeah that compared to my build (I see you used almsot the same) you get a little better performance but the CPU will bottleneck more with a GPU upgrade.

Yeah that compared to my build (I see you used almsot the same) you get a little better performance but the CPU will bottleneck more with a GPU upgrade.

The boteneck will vary depending on game but from my experience the 3220 isn't that bad for light gaming with R7 cards.
