Red Themed Lga 2011 Air Cooler TJ08b-e Help

Hey forum,

I have been looking around for a good air cooler that fits the lga 2011 socket, as well as be under the 165mm clearance for the TJ08b-e m-atx case. I do not want any LED fans, and I have already considered both the h60, and the h80i. If I have to, I am ok with going with noctua colors. Am I missing a blatantly obvious winner somewhere that I just haven't found yet? Or are there just not that many 2011 air coolers out there that fit an m-atx profile?

Much appreciated for any responses, and for reference, here is the link to my planning log. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/13110-prebuild-log-silverstone-tj08b-e-animation-rig/

Though elegant, as an animation student, I need room for both hard drives and ram. Sorry, probably should have clarified that in the original post.

What kind of RAM are you using? Low profile ones or those with large heatsinks?

You could move that fan near the drive bays to the other side of the air cooler to get more room for RAM and HDD's.

He's looking at G.skill trident. Big stuff, but I think the tops can be removed?

Anyway, if you need that kind of clearance on both sides of the CPU then one of the little liquid coolers is a good bet.

Although with an H80 and HDDs you may still run in to clearance issues:

Yeah. Basing on that pic, he needs low profile RAM with the HDD cage fully populated. With that cooler, space is really becoming a premium especially on those top 2 drives. I think the H60 will have to be the choice just in case.

With the new magnetic mounting system I can mount the tubes on the other side cant I? I only plan to run the h80i (if thats the final selection) in a pull configuration, so I would have a bit more space. I cant seem to find any black or red low profile 2133 quad channel memory either, unless its not listed on newegg. Thanks for the responses too, this is why I love this forum.

That stuff is about as tall as a set of Ripjaws.

 I'm using Corsair XMS: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145324

It's about as low profile as you can go, and you can't really see the blue parts on it, just looks like some black bars attached to your motherboard.  My build is also a red and black theme which is why I used it.  Recommend it.

Yea but I need a 4x8 2133 kit, and they don't make it in that.
