the 970A-UD3P is an aweome motherboard, bvery high quality for the price, 8+2 power phase and perfect to overclock 8 core FX on...it is indeed kind of brownish but it is very DARK so once in a system it really look black...you have to put it under the sunlight to see it is brown..
