Gpu question

Hey, so I recently ordered a ASUS megalodon rtx 3070. I wanted to check to see if it was a good buy for $347 after tax

3070's are selling on eBay recently for well under $300 USD, so no.

there is one catch to a low price like that on ebay it probably was used to mine crypto hence why so cheap. i may be wrong though so im not trying to come off as aggressive.

idk man, i mean they sure do but just a quick check they're all with broken gpus, no gpu, no vram or otherwise sus.... the good ones seem all to be 400 and up!

 

better buy new, with warranty in that situation imo.

 

that said aren't there better cards for ~400 nowadays?   even the new intels should be better no?

it depends on if you can find a none broken rtx 3070 for 400$ but i have a 3070 and it does very good at 1440p gaming even though it only has 8gb vram so overall it's a decent last gen card for nvidia
