i have a new AM5 builld and im trying to figure out how to run my memory at a higher speed, i have 4 sticks of dominator RGB ram at 6000MTs and i cant seem to get my computer to run it any higher than 3600MTs,

here is my spec list

CPU- Ryzen 9700X

RAM- 64gb corsair dominator rgb 6000MTs

i know i have the power for it and i know that AM5 doesnt like quad channel i am just trying to figure out how to overclock it and have the best stability

Getting 4 sticks of DDR5 to work on Ryzen 7000 and 9000 at the rated 6000Mhz is almost impossible.

Try two sticks and see if that works.

This is why we have started seeing 2x48 GB RAM DDR5 sticks 🙂

There's you're problem. 4 sticks of DDR5 is notoriously hard to get working at decent speeds, so while it is possible it requires some combination of luck and effort tuning everything to get it to work. Unless you absolutely need the extra capacity, remove the extra two sticks and return them.

Also give the specific model numbers for parts so we can figure out memory timings as well as whether you're referring to 4x16GB for 64GB or 2 64GB kits, resulting in 4x32GB (next to impossible to get working at speeds above ~4400 without a ton of effort).
