How to setup a Remote access storage server.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My Home office system is a very old gaming computer with 10 series graphic card, first gen ryzen, 32 GB ram and around 20 Tb storage (around 6 Tb internal and rest external).

HELP ME SETUP A REMOTE ACCESS STORAGE SERVER.

I have 2 primary locations where I work. Home Office where I do most of my work and a family business office where I am working on the family business as well as my own freelance Graphic Designing/Video Editing. 

 

I recently updated my storage on my home office to around 6 TB internal which is backed up on 6 TB external Hard drives. In long term I am planning to use my business office as a separate backup location for separation. 

I am fairly noob in some of aspects storage servers. Still, I have setup a fair amount of NAS locally for my friends and family. I was wondering if there is a way I can use my home office system as a remote access storage server which I can access from a secondary location just like CLOUD STORAGE. I am NOT planning to work on files remotely but it will be fine for me to copy the files from my server work on them locally and then put them back to the original location. 

Please suggest me any resources/videos which can help me setup a remote access storage server if it is at all possible.
