Hey,

Currently, I have an AW3423DW and a secondary Dell 27-inch monitor that I've used for many years, with my laptop on an arm acting as a third screen with Windows Hello.

However, as a software developer and gamer who just wants something newer, bigger, and better (a first-world problem - company purchase - no budget), I'm looking for a monster of a monitor like:

  • 4K or ultra-wide with 2160 pixels in height

  • 37" or 42"

  • QOLED

  • 240Hz+ (probably will get one of NVIDIA's next top-gen GPUs)

Is this a first-world problem? Yes, but given that I make all of my money on the computer, having more screen space enables better productivity, and who doesn't love to game a bit on the side? Currently, I love my AW3423DW, but I always find myself wishing it had more vertical space. It has an annoying fan and now has coil whine, boo. Lastly, my current monitor in SDR mode is unusable for work as everything is too dim, which means I cannot use native Linux for work.

Is there anything like that currently out there? I basically want thisAlienware 32-inch 4K QD-OLED Curved Gaming Monitor but bigger
