Hey, i want to buy and build a new computer primarily used for gaming, music etc. I'm going with Nvidia/Intel over AMD because of the G-sync. My room gets really hot during the summer, so it needs good cooling, but can afford full water cooling, going with one 8 GB RAM, so room for expansion later. I have not decided fully on what parts to buy yet, but this is how it looks so far:

Feel free to comment on what you think about the components and overall build :)

I'm from Denmark, my budget is about 10-11000 DKK

you don't need to buy extra thermal paste. and if you don't need a DVD drive, you can also ditch that.

-snip-

- Go with z97 Mobo

- PSU is overkill, go with 550W 80+ Bronze or something similar

- Why go with WD Black O.o Better go with SSD and 1Tb Seagate Barracuda

- Also, why full tower O.o Because of the heat O.o

Dissipating heat faster doesnt make your room any cooler. If you want to drop temps, ditch the thermal paste and AIO, get a 4770k,  overclock on stock voltage ( or even undervolt ) however it goes, get smaller wattage psu.

And you are definitly overspending on case.

go with anew Z97 motherboard and also go with 2 8gb ram sticks to take advantage of dual channel memory. You also don't need to buy extra thermal paste as the cooler already comes with a good one and if you want to, you could wait for the new Devil's Canyon CPUs coming out next week, because they get better overclocking and run cooler at stock speeds than Haswell chips.

Water cooling isn't magic. It will not make the heat from your components disappear, it will just dissipate it into your room. If anything, the water cooling loop will only make your room warmer.

The only thing that could make your room cooler is if you under-volt your GPU and your CPU, hence lowering heat output of the components.

To do this, you'd almost have to go Intel/Nvidia due to the higher TDP's of AMD products.

Didn't know they were making new chips, can you link something so i can read about it :)

hvor køber du delene henne?

Komplett er der hvor jeg har lavet listen :)

Can see what you all mean about the PSU, just don't have a lot of knowledge about the PSU :P what would be a suitable, not to loud PSU for this build?

They heat problem is only a temporary problem, i'm moving down a floor, where there is a lot cooler, then were i am now :)

Wanted to have a full tower, so i had a lot of room to expand, and build on my computer, but if you have any other cases you could recommend i would love advise!

Corsair rm550 will be adequate for that build if you don't intend to go sli or have major overclocks on anything.

A smaller, mid tower case will be more suited to this build, such as 450D etc.

A tower cooler, I.e. Be quiet dark rock 3 should do for your cooling.

Unless you really need the warranty, get a WD blue/seagate barracuda and use those money saved overall to get an SSD

Hey again, i have tried taking some of your advise, this is how my build looks now, though i am still kinda insecure about some of the things

Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM

 Intel Core i5-4670K

CM Storm Trooper Gaming Big Tower Sort

or

Corsair Obsidian 450D Midi Tower Sort

or

 NZXT H440 Midi Tower Sort

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB PhysX CUDA

 ASUS DVD Writer, DRW-24F1ST

 Seagate Barracuda® 2TB

 ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO, Socket-1150

 Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU

or

 Cooler Master G650M, 650W PSU

BE QUIET DARK ROCK PRO 3

 CORSAIR 16GB DDR3 VENGEANCE PRO RED 2400MHZ (...

With the power supply i wanted something semi-full modular, i think that if its gold 80+ it will be to expensive compered to the voltage. Still really unfamillier with PSU so, if you have a better one you really think i should go with, please say so  :)

I wanted to go with 16GB of RAM, not sure if i want to start with 8GB and then expend later, but the 2400 MHZ was cheaper then those with less MHZ, so i just went with the 2400 one.

Going with the Be Quiet Dark Rock 3, because i only heard good things about it, and it was cheaper then the one i was going to go with before  ;)

Im going to go with one of the newer ROG Mobo's, because i really like their features, not sure if i want the Hero or the Ranger though  :) I went away from the MSI, because i really like ROG and MSI's rumor isn't exactly the best. Also want a Z97 board so i can upgrad to Devil's Canyon or Broadwell (thanks for pointing that out)

You all seamed to like the Seagate barracuda, so i went with a 2 TB there for lots of space, as it was not much more expensive then the 1 TB WD

With the cases i am not sure witch one i want to go with, I really like the NZXT H440, but i am not quit sure that it there will be enough ventilation places, considering how hot my room can get. and i know the CM Storm Trooper is really big, but i though it might allow more breathing room for the components.

I hope you like it, but please write what you think of it, and what would be the best options for me and why  :)
