Hey Everyone,

I performed a forum search and couldn't see a discussion like this.

The idea would be for people with gaming machines of all types to run the latest 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme 1.1 in your standard gaming state.

This means that I'm not looking for results on a clean build with all other applications shut down for the best possible score, but something that illustrates a real world example (or as "real" as you get with a preset benchmark).

Skype, Steam, all those other wee applications that would tick away in the background should be left running, or as you would normally game.

I'd like to collect the data similarly to the Haswell overclock thread, and use this to help illustrate to people what performance to expect from a range of hardware, though I have no idea how to present or collate this info as of yet.  I think it'd be a useful tool to view your options - maybe SLI'ing your older card is a good idea as it would outperform a Titan Black? etc.

You should be able to collect your results as a weblink that records the performance of your machine once the benchmark is complete.  I think the demo run could be allowed prior to the test itself. I think it would be handy if we included any additional information such as if you are on stock clock, have OC'd and anything that would help other people make the most out of their hardware.

I'll start off with my results:

Fire Strike Extreme 1.1 Score:

6167 - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/2192469

4770k @ 4.4GHz 1.25V

2x 4GB EVGA 670 SC's with 70MHz OC+ on the core and 700MHz OC+ on the memory with personalised fan graph

Dominator Platinum 2400MHz C10 using basic XMP profile

So please let me know what you think, and if you're in to it let's compare our epeens, side by side as people have done since the dawn of time! :)

6320 - 1430 on the core, 1819 on memory. Not my best run. I was going for a high core clock and got tired when I topped and left the memory at a measly +50 lol

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1922169

Was on the hall of fame for single cards until recently when I got bumped off. Started at #82 though!

I benched higher than that 64 something but the score wasn't valid because of the 337.5 driver not being verified.
