Hey there, I was wondering on how to disable the SVM mode, just got the laptop and tried to find it in the bios and did all the possible CMD commands and still nothing.. still shows up as enabled.

Is there a particular reason you want to turn this feature off?

 

Any impact is minimal and normally only evident when using virtualisation software

 

It has been found that only in rare cases will having SVM enabled adversely affect gaming.

 

If you are still sure you wish to disable it, Access BIOS: Enter your computer's BIOS settings by pressing the designated key during boot (usually Delete or F2).

Navigate to CPU settings: Find the section related to CPU configuration or advanced settings.

Find SVM mode: Look for an option labeled "SVM Mode" or "AMD Virtualization" and set it to "Disabled" for gaming.

 

Save and exit to CMOS.

 

To confirm BIOS settings change, do the following in Windows (to save rebooting into BIOS);

 

Right-click Start > Run > msinfo32

 

The first page shows whether virtualization is enabled in BIOS (firmware).

Hey there, @NotGonnaLook the reason of me disabling it is that the software I use for work requires virtualisation to be off. The problem is that I don’t have the BIOS setting to disable SVM even tho I have an AMD CPU. Is there like a setting in windows or something ?
