Rightio to overclock you must go to bios, to do that repeatedly press DEL(or delete) button when starting up the pc. once your in there you go to Power Management or something that relates to your CPU (if there is that option, most old mobo have it but new mobo have OC tab like OC Genie in MSI) once your in there there is a option.. i forgot what it called but basically it modifies your clock speed its called CPU Multiplier. It ranges from the number 200. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN AFTERMARKET COOLER or else it will make a nice winter heater and then break. but 2.2 to 2.6 doesnt need aftermarket mostly.

Next stress test it by using Prime95 and use blended mode when testing, there are many videos to use Prime95. Use almighty google

I don't recommend any overclock on stock coolers. Those are fine for normal use but with oc I wouldn't trust them. So make sure you get something more powerful. As for the i7, for the same reason you shouldn't oc a mobile processor as you can't substitute the cooler. Also, if for some reason the cpu dies, you can't even save the motherbord because in a laptop it's soldered in.

So, don't do it. The 2.2 ghz duo should still run most games decently if you have a goo gpu and oveclocking it won't bring a big improvement.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

but my i7 runs at 65°C under load, so why not add some mhz
