My computer is dead

Go to solution Solved by GreenLeaf,

The problem was very unexpected

It was the ram, the exposed adata dimms the guy gave me was dead

I rebuilt this PC with a completely different mobo and a Ryzen 5 5600 and it worked with the 3070Ti

Hi

When I booted my PC thin morning it all went fine until it just froze (I am using arch Linux so idk if that's basically a blue screen)

I turned it off from the power supply and restarted it again but it crashed again, and never came back, I tried to resit the GPU and nothing happened, I can't fault the OS cause I can't even get to the god damn bios

Anyway this is how it behaves:

Turned on

GPU lights up

Fans spin to the max

Nothing

Please help this is my only computer

I did

Same results

Hmm... since there are no error LEDs (that I could find), it's hard to know for sure what happened, but the board might just be dead. I hope it's still under warranty

Yesterday my entire house went down and the PC was plugged into the wall, maybe that's the problem?

Can be but if you have a decent PSU it should kept your system safe.

If you got fan spin it can be anything from Ram not seated to CPU/Motherboard Fried... I would suggest start from reseating the RAM sticks.

I would suggest disconnect your storage to avoid further damage/data loss. And remove GPU from the equation if the CPU has integrated graphics.

There is but it's under the GPU and I can't quite see it

...Is your GPU running at 1x gen 3 speeds? Because those debug LEDs are bottom right of the board.
