The ASRock B650M-H/M.2+ might require a BIOS update for the Ryzen 8400F to work ( most likely that it does )

So picking the Ryzen 7600 is the better choice here as it will work 100% in this motherboard.

The Ryzen 7600 IS more expensive than the 8400F but the 7600 comes with a stock cooler so you can drop the Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 AIO.

The 7600 is also a little faster 🙂

The RAM is a little slow, 6000Mhz CL30 is the sweetspot but for a budget build, 5600Mhz CL36 is plenty fine 🙂

Have a look at the AMD 7600 XT.  Its a bit more expensive but the 16GB VRAM might be nice in upcoming games.

The 4060 ain't a bad card if thats all you can afford.  You might be able to score better on the used market.

No, they aren't.  And you didn't hear that recently.  Those prejudices without any research or investigation are going to cost you money.

I run a 7900XTX, 6900XT, 7900GRE, and 6650XT.  I would never have spent money on "trash".

4060 is a substandard card, not quite trash, but isn't worth the money.

The thing is that the 8400f might not work in that ASRock B650M motherboard.

All B650 motherboards require a BIOS update for Ryzen 8000 to work.

If you get a motherboard that has previous BIOS ( this is very likely that you do ) The 8400f will just straight up not work.

The ASRock B650M motherboard you picked out does not have an option to update the BIOS without a Ryzen 7000 CPU.

You might get stuck with a motherboard and a CPU that you can't use.

You can look for a 7500F

is there a cheap mobo with a compatible BIOS ? because its impossible to get a 7500f in Brazil the importation taxes here are close to 80% of the product value, so its really difficult to buy stuff from Ali

No. There are not.  Not that has a guaranteed 100% compatability with the 8400f.

We will see cheaper B850 and B840 motherboards sometime early next year.

Check the price of the ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS or PRIME B650M.

This one should be cheap and able to update the BIOS without a Ryzen 7000 CPU.

They confirm BIOS Flashback on the website.

This means you can update the BIOS without a compatible CPU so the 8400f will work 🙂

Is AliExpress the only place you can buy stuff?  What other retailers do you use?

a 7500f would be good if you can't get the 7600. It's faster than the 8400f too. Definitely get the 6750xt like everyone else said, and get some faster RAM at like 6000mhz. Performance should be a higher priority than aesthetics when you have a tight budget like this one unless you have a specific reason.
