System Specs

OS Name    Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Version    10.0.22631 Build 22631
System Manufacturer    OriginPC
System Type    x64-based PC
BIOS Version/Date    American Megatrends International, LLC. 1.K0, 10/21/2024
Processor    12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K, 3600 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)
GPU    RTX 3070 Ti - Nvidia Driver version 566.03

64GB DDR4 3600mhz

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last month I was on here about BF2042 running at about 10 FPS, when just the day before it was at 120 on High settings.

We updated my BIOS for the first time, reinstalled the graphics drivers and changed some settings on bf2042 and it worked!

now 3 weeks later for no reason* again BF2042 and now Hell Divers 2 are running at 10-15 fps!?

Here is a screenshot of my Nvida app while BF2042 is running, it looks like the computer is just not using the CPU or GPU??!

Of corse this was right when I tabbed out to catch this I kept my eye on it in Windowed mode and the highest wither Util got was 20% (I don't know what they should be first time looking at this) I even tried overclocking with the automatic tuning and nothing has changed. Games like CS2 and KCD seem to work fine, and KCD is more demanding than either of these 2 games.

Last months steps were BIOS update driver update running CC cleaner updating random apps and drivers.

Turning off DLSS and Dynamic resolution.

Today:

I uninstalled bf2042 again and EA both those did not seem to change anything, Launched bf2042 as Admin (WORKED for one launch!) Im at a loss, even when I turn the resolution to 600x800 in low the highest FPS is 25.

Something's buggy and CPU is idling... I suspect it's a Windows issue, if you've already updated BIOS, reinstall Windows

That is one option they suggested last time. I will try that, whenever I go to the screen it says *even after I say keep all files, here are the 1000000000000000000 files that will be deleted (everything)
