2080ti is pretty decent, plus it's not very expensive.

I do offer a rtx4060 on eBay and should be around 260$ equivalent (I'm in eu and I'm not entirely sure about exchange). It shouldn't be over 300$ if you include international shipment

Going to leave this here remember that the 4060 will have access to DLSS and frame generation but has 8gb VRAM
3060ti is better but doesn't have access to DLSS and more powerful but doesn't have access to frame gen while also having 8gb vram

6700XT easily most powerful one while also having 12gb vram but yeah no access to dlss or frame gen but can use fsr 3.

2080Ti@$200 is the best option there.. but what's the catch? Why it's cheaper than lower end card from the same generation?

I'll probably get 2080 ti or 6700xt. Why? Both is actually at or better than a 4060 ti. If you get he 2080ti, just make sure that it's still in good condition. However, since you will be getting it for 200. You have 50-100 to buy paste and even extra fans, if it needs repasting and replacement.

I won't get 10 series, specially if you intend to keep it for another few years. While for the other cards, if you have a choice, don't get 8gb vram cards anymore(and you do have the option not to-so don't).

It is the 3 fan version and one of them  needs to be replaced

lol that's a steal. It would depend where you can get it. But depends on the brand, a pair of 3 fans would be less than $20. In my region(asia), it's just between $8-$20 for the replacement fans, that's shipping and tax included. can  you share with us the brand and which variant?

lol if desperate enough, I would buy that 2080 ti gpu, remove the fans and shroud. Buy a 2-3 standard 120mm fans and zip tie it to the gpu heatsink. Then directly connect the fans to the motherboard. If you are worried about fan curves and control. That's easy, you just need to install apps like fan control. Then identify the 3 fans you zip tie on your gpu and apply the fan curve based on the gpu temps(or whatever you want).
