Wooden PC case building

Hey guys! Been away from here for a while but I'm back for the foreseeable future!

Anyways, I'm thinking about building a wooden PC case as my summer project, and I'm wondering if any of you have some tips?

I have an old case I can offer up for motherboard tray, PCI slots etc, so that's pretty handy. I also have plenty of fans and that as I understand air flow will be pretty important so I'm gonna stick to the whole front intake back exhaust ethos. Other than an AIO I have no water cooling, but I'd like to leave it open to that in the future if I could, as in just some room in the basement for rads pumps and the like.

Anyone done anything like this before? Any advice really welcome!

Dot let it set on fire?

Also I would be careful with screws and how they will go into pc parts but also the wood itself!
