Issues trying to install windows 11

Hi all,

Situation - I have recently upgraded my pc (cpu, ram, mobo) and used the old parts to build a pc for my so, my pc had no issues booting with the old m.2 that I was using other then loosing the windows key. I then put together my so’s pc and attempted to install windows 11 on the brand new m.2 and it just fails everything I try.

Attempts - I have been trying everything from installing windows 11 and windows 10 from a bootable drive created from the offical installer and the Rufus boot drive creation tool, I have even tried to install windows on my pc with the new m.2 put into my computer and it still fails. I have tried many “fixes” from various YouTube videos and nothing has worked.

Help - the only thing I can conclude is that something is wrong with the m.2 drive as with my previous m.2 has no issues booting. Is there anything I can do?

PC parts -

my pc: Ryzen 7 9800x3D, MSI B650 gaming mATX wifi, 32gb Corsair 600mhz ram, RTX 3080 MSI Suprim, (don’t remember the brand of the old m.2)

SO pc: Ryzen 5 5600x, Gigabyte B450 Aourus Elite, 32gb Tridant Z neo 3600mhz ram, RTX 3070 MSI Suprim, crucial p3 plus pair 4.0 none m.2 ssd

When attempting to install windows 11 if doesn’t give me any info or error codes and just refuses to download to 100% I have got 2 different codes when installing windows 10 which are 0x8007025D (which I saw most the time) and 0xc0000005

and I have tried YouTube fixes that could be completed/ work either.

Also a bit of an update, I changed absolutely nothing and for some reason when I powered it on it booted into windows 11 and worked? I have no idea what happened as I still had not downloaded windows yet. So we used it for a bit and went out to see a movie (wicked - almost 3hrs of singing 😅) came back and it still worked then started to download games and such, tried playing valorant but it needed TPM 2.0 enabled so I went in the bios and enabled it and then booted again, worked, started playing again, crash, crash again and then blue screen, windows repair fail, and back to square one. Doesn’t boot to windows and doesn’t complete downloading.

Edit: After hours of trying different things nothing works and now it won’t even let me reset the pc, it keeps coming up with “preparing automatic repair” then “diagnosing pc” then automatic repair couldn’t repair your pc, now when I go advance options - troubleshoot - reset this pc - remove everything it comes up with “there is a problem while resetting your pc” so now I can’t even try to re install windows at all because I can’t delete the data, this happens even when I swapped the m.2 into my pc and even after putting in in my pc as a secondary drive and formatting the m.2 while logged into my pc on my old m.2

so now I am completely stuck and can’t do anything at all only thing I can think to do is buy a new m.2 and try that and my old m.2 can still boot right into windows on both pc
