Budget (including currency): £ 900

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FIFA , MC , FN , GTA , R6 , GT7

Other details:

I currently have a 165hz monitor so around that fps would be great on games that I play , I currently have a ps5 and would like to upgrade to pc gaming ( yet again ). I have built a pc before and it was a huge struggle for me , I’m looking for a pre built pc for around £900-950 or if it’s really an upgrade I could go for about £1000 for a custom build. I would really appreciate any help with this , thanks

Thank you 🙏

This is a list I would make in this budget. You can get a slightly better performance by going with like a 14100f or 12400f, but then you have no upgrade path

Nah it's fine that's what the forums are for, but why exactly do you need an nvidia GPU? Because for games it doesn't really make sense most of the time compared to similarly priced AMD cards. If you wanted a brand new Nvidia GPU, you can only get a 4060ti in this budget, but the 8GB of VRAM will be a big problem for it VERY soon, and the performance is worse than the 7700XT. If you really want an Nvidia GPU, you can try to look for a used one, I recently bought a 3090 for $600, which beats every new GPU for this price, though all used Nvidia GPUs in your price range also have a small amount of VRAM

As with everything, depending on what you get for what money... that determines worth.

Find a couple in your price range, we'll tell you how they stack up to building your own, or just as raw values themselves.

Or you can use pcpartpicker to build a comparative one and see what their assembly fee turns out to be.
