Budget (including currency): 2100 - 2300 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games at 1440p especially new ones

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):  https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/Mosha/saved/gQzmxr this is what i was thinking for the build but i have questions about the graphics card, i know powercolour is a reputable brand for radeon gpu oems but when comparing https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/QgcgXL/powercolor-fighter-oc-radeon-rx-7900-gre-16-gb-video-card-rx-7900-gre-16g-foc

to https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/3v7scf/asus-dual-oc-radeon-rx-7900-gre-16-gb-video-card-dual-rx7900gre-o16g its seems like the asus version is cheaper by $50 while also having better performance so should i just go for the asus version. Another question is if building the setup in a smaller case such as the Asus Prime AP201 or Lian Li A3 would cause issues such as thermal throttling or any other performance issues, there is also the fact that i never owned a gaming rig nor made one if that would be a factor with me opting for a bigger case for better cable management.

7900GRE have stout cooling, and the AP201 is mesh.  Air won't be an issue.

I'd probably pop for the 9600x since you can afford it.

How about the Lian Li A3 cooling capabilities, also do you have any answer about my question for the 2 gpus

I don't know the Lian Li at all, I had one of their cases and won't again probably.

I'd go with the ASUS.  The 7900GRE is a great card and it shows that 2 fans can cool it just fine.  I usually recommend 3 fan cards only, but the 7900GRE is an exception.  Either brand is really good though, so can't go wrong.

I would go with the Asus Dual card as the cooler and fans is very good. Also it's small and lightweight which is a plus compared to many other brands that uses giant coolers, which makes the card very heavy. Also Powercolor really saved on quality this time. I have a Red Devil RX 7900 XT and the build quality of the cooler is horrific.

Firstly, never pay for the X when there's a non-X version, that's AMD CPU rule 101. So 7600.

GRE turns out to be ok, but you can get a 7900XT in budget so I would.
