Budget (including currency): AUD $1750 - loose budget but cheaper the better!

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

I play quite literally every game. I want to be able to run every game at 2k no problem at high frames. why I've gone with the 7800xt.

My friend's and i like to stream from time to time to each other and on online so i want to be covered there too.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Buying now in November for all the deals. I want 2 monitors, the second one doesn't need to be anything special, just youtube and discord mainly.

You'll notice i don't have a storage card, this is because they confuse me so much. please recommend what i need with 1TB and i will try to copy the stats and find a good deal on one (there are great sales so far for them).

also things like RAM, PSU and mother boards I'm not too confident with so I'd love opinions and options there.

i have my eyes set on this case and was wondering if i needed to buy more fans, either 3 more exhaust or intake or both?

I'd love for people to give any type of suggestions to the part list below no matter what it is.

So this list isn't bad, but there's a few things I'd probably change to make it a fair bit more cost effective.

  1. CPU - The 7600X and 7600 are the same chip with nearly identical performance, but the 7600 includes a stock cooler and is currently $30 cheaper. The stock cooler, while not amazing, would mean you can ditch the ID-COOLING one and save another $35, and you always have the option of upgrading it in the future if you so desire.
  2. Motherboard - The B650 Eagle is a similar quality board but $50 cheaper, unless you really like MSI for whatever reason I'd go for that one instead.
  3. RAM - DDR4 6400 does not work on all Ryzen 7000 series CPUs in 1:1 mode, so either you'll enable XMP and it's unstable or you'll enable XMP and it'll default to 2:1 mode where you lose a lot of memory performance. You generally want to stick to 6000 CL30 if you can as that's about the fastest kit that just works on AMD setups.
    1. Lowering the memory speed is an option, and looking through PCPartPicker it does seem to actually be cheaper to get a higher speed kit and manually enter 6000 CL30 for the memory speed. I'm not sure I'd recommend this for someone's first build, especially since the amount you save is relatively minimal, but if you want to give it a shot I'll include both options and more than happy to talk you through it if need be.
  4. For the case, I'd try to get something with a mesh front, though if you really like the look of that case feel free to stick with it, it's not that big a deal.
  5. The PSU is pretty good, that's probably what I'd pick.

As for storage, I would really try for 2TB if you can help it. Games are getting much bigger nowadays, and 1TB gets used up fast, plus the price difference isn't that big either. You don't need to go for something super high end, a Crucial P3 should be more than good enough.

Thanks for the help! do you think i need more cooling fans with this case if i were to get it? it comes with 3 included however about 50% of other builds ive seen get more exhaust fans on the top.

You can probably get by without them, for a fishtank style case like the one you selected it's pretty common to want to fill it up for aesthetic purposes, so that's what I'd suspect is happening here. That said, fans are usually pretty easy to add to a system, so you can always upgrade it later on similar to the CPU cooler.

Looks  good, but the RAM looks a but expensive. Probably could get 32gb 6000 ram for more like $100. Also, motherboard seems bit high for B series chipset.
