recording gameplay problem

can u guys see the color fringing on the right side different shades of same color tend to form rings its so ugly its very visible in black areas,i use obs for recording and davinci for editing what am i doing wrong, please help me

If you're getting that in the capture but not the original then the two things that spring to mind are either compression artefacts or there is some colour/level shift or conversion going on. Given the capture bitrate seems to be set to 100Mbps that shouldn't be a problem. I'm using half that for 4k60.

 

Dunno if something needs tinkering with in colour format/colour space. I'm not on a PC with OBS installed so can't see what other options there are.

it is in the recorded file itself even before editing, i have recorded in the av1 codec,is it because of that ? or the color formar and color space ?

You could try using a 4:4:4 color format, that might solve the problem. My assumption is that the chroma subsampling of 4:2:0 eliminates many of the color shades in that gradient.
