Dear the linus tech tips team,

My name is Cooper jackson. I am an 8th grader from CT and me and a couple of friends are entering a contest about history. Our topic is digital responsibilities. We have decided to create a documentary about the topic and we were wondering if it would be possible to set up an interview. With an interview in our documentary with someone as important as yourself in the tech industry, we could make our documentary so much better. We have been doing this for our college credit, and it would be super helpful. We have lots of time so there's no rush but it would be greatly appreciated. Please get back to me.

Sincerely, Cooper

You get much better response with contact form at https://linusmediagroup.com/contact-us or email to info@linusmediagroup.com

As learning experience, public contacts aren't way to go in professional setting.

E: You ofc choose, but I personally don't view LTT that important to tech space. From tech reviewers on YouTube, 3DGameman, PC Perspective, OC3D are the cornerstones in my eyes.

You're calling this channel a "cornerstone of tech"

They have over 4K videos and they've been making videos for 18 years.

Judging them based off of a small sample from your screenshot sounds like you're the troll here.

Yes. I knew his channel before I knew LinusTechTips. He took long break, pretty much stopped doing reviews and came back with more relaxed way of having tech as hobby. So currently he's doing WAN Show style content all the time. Back in the day, you knew whose style of giving grades to products was "This is a kickass product!". Still among the only channels I know who did proper case fan sound tests (which were important back then).

So next time before you call something stupid like trolling, check the history. Ironic, since this is about history of subject.

I know exactly who he is which is why I know he hasn't been relevant outside of the last century. And even then he was just a novelty. Pcper and oc3d are hardly "cornerstones of tech" either.

If youre talking about PC hardware sites maybe if you said anandtech or toms hardware you might have something.

But OPs requirements are pretty vague. It's for a history class and the topic is "digital responsibility" and he wants to talk to people in tech. Sounds more like he should be talking to people who make tech rather than review it. But who knows.

Then your comment wasn't just ignorant, but stupid. IN MY VIEW means my opinion. You can disagree. But that doesn't make my opinion invalid.

OP wanted to interview Linus. Who is tech youtuber. Not someone hailing from tech review site. Anandtech and Tom's Hardware may be big in website/magazine space, but they are both younger in YouTube than even LTT/NCIX. Linus may be interesting since he was known as the "unboxing guy" in the beginning. But again, OPs decision and opinion.
