Hello,

Built a new gaming rig 2 years back, to save a few bucks i opted for a used GPU because they were quite good price/performance at the time.
The PSU i also kept from my old rig. All the other components i got new.

Almost instantly after i started to get DirectX chrashes/errors when i was playing games but did not think much about it, thinking that it could have something to do with my second hand GPU. (might been mined on)

Some while ago ii started ti do some troubleshooting and trying to fix the issue, but no help.
-thinkering with settings in Nvidia Control-panel

-Updating/refreshing GPU Bios

Is there some good way to troubleshoot this issue?

I am planning to maybe upgrade GPU to 4070 ti Super, but if my GPU is not the issue then it would feel like a waste.

Attaching one of the errors i recived, this is from Battlefield 1. have encounterd similar issues also with other games, (CoD mw2-mw3, The finals, and more)

Thanks in advance, please inform if i can get you more info.

Full system specs please?

If you've updated the GPU bios, I'd also use DDU to remove, and then GeForce Experience to reinstall the graphics drivers.

A good way to test if it's the card would be to either run another GPU in your system to see if the error goes away or use that GPU in another system to see if it causes a whole other system to have the same crashes.

You could try DDU and fresh drivers.
After that, if it happens again, can you look at Event Viewer and see if there are any other errors?
