Well in that case what you can do is troubleshooting with spare parts.

If you don't have any then ask a friend to borrow his pc to swap around parts, starting with the powersupply.

It's not much more we in this forum can do.

Use any warranty you might have on suspicious parts, if you can do so for the powersupply.

If you can afford a visit to pc repair shop do it if you cannot troubleshoot on your own or with a friend.

Hi all, I’m a little stuck right now. I’ve had my PC for quite a while now and I decided to put a new drive in and get rid of the old one. Now, after installing windows on the new drive. It will just randomly shut off sometimes even during post and won’t turn back on until I fully disconnect the power plug from the PSU. I’ve tried disconnecting my other drives, resetting CMOS, reinstalling windows, re-seating ram, GPU, etc, removing the old drives using just the new one and still the same issue. For reference, I got a new SSD since one of the old ones had 100% utilization doing nothing. I have a feeling it’s the power supply starting to die but I want to be sure before I get a new one. Any ideas?

Did you try without the new drive? Do you have the old drive with Windows left?

Maybe the new drive is faulty and makes the PSU react and shutdown.
