Hi guys,

Im building a PC at the moment and am needing some help deciding which graphics card to go with.

It'll be mainly used for flight sim (work) and needs to be fairly strong performance wise.

Roughly a £1800 budget including monitor.

It'll be 1440p gaming, with a 165hz IPS monitor 2k

It'll have a 7800X3D, 32gb vengeance ram, 990 evo m.2 ssd, AIO cooler and 750/850W power supply.

Which graphics cards would you recommend.

Ive been told a 7900XT, a RTX 4070/4070 Ti.

your opinions please.

7900xt.  If you can fut the xtx , do that but it may be too tight.

Lose the aio and get a $35 air cooler for that cpu.  Allocate that money to the GPU

Leaves 230 for a monitor...

what makes you say the 7900 over the Nvidia option out of interest? I agree with everything else said

Vram and raw performance per dollar.  Of course if you want RTX then it's Nvidia all the way.  But fsr 3 is great now and you can get more raw raster with AMD.

Plus I don't buy Nvidia anymore, so won't recommend them.
